Character Animation Lags in Multiplayer

Hello there! Multiplayer now works for my game... However, on client #1's screen, client #2's animation lags and choppily glides to his destination. I have heard things about interpolation, but I do not know if that could fix it. By the way, this is over a LAN. Thank you for taking time to read this and for your future posts! =)
